Enrichment

The goals of the PCIBMR Enrichment Program activities are to: 1) Propagate knowledge, 2) Provide networking opportunities, 3) Build new collaborations by enhancing scientific dialog across disciplines, 4) Support career development for all PCIBMR investigators, and 5) Increase the ability of our investigators to conduct the cutting-edge and state-of-the-art research to generate impactful science with potential to transform musculoskeletal medicine.

PCIBMR Monthly Seminar Series

Features both established investigators and work-in-progress talks from PCIBMR members. Occasionally other investigators from local institutions and from outside the region are invited to give talks.

  • PCIBMR Seminars are held one Thursday each month at 4- 5pm.
  • Currently they are virtual on Zoom – see announcement flyers
  • The seminars are also available in person at the CVS Conference Room in Salk Pavilion
  • Contact Dianna Fennell to be added to the PCIBMR Seminar email list.

Annual Symposium (Retreat)

We will alternate between holding a Full-day PCIBMR retreat every other year and sponsoring a Bone-related Symposium at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine (MIRM) Annual retreat in the intervals.

2022 Virtual PCIBMR Symposium –  planning is underway – please volunteer to help or recommend speakers – contact Giuseppe Intini, DDS, PhD

Technical and Resource Education Seminars and Workshops: 

These will be a set of Core-directed and PCIBMR-member directed Educational seminars and workshops. They are currently in development. If you are interested to create one of these, please contact Dr. Deborah Galson or Peter G. Alexander, PhD.
