Research Interests

My research focuses on two major areas: (1) calcium signaling in fibroblasts and osteoblasts; and 2) calcium dependent phospholipids and phosphoproteins role in mineralization. Our focus is generally on signal transduction, protein-protein interaction and protein-lipid interaction on mineralization of skeletal tissues.

Calcium release and entry measurements in cells, calcium signaling pathways, Protein phosphorylation assays and quantitation, lipid analysis, neuroglobin expressing cell lines, and calcium channel deficient T cell lines, Casein kinase-1 and -2 deficient fibroblasts and osteoblast cells.
