Research Interests

My laboratory effort is focused on understanding scleroderma (systemic sclerosis), and developing novel therapeutic approaches based on identifying biomarkers of the disease process and utilizing biomarkers in clinical trials.

Our laboratory was the first Pitt lab to incorporate the 10X Genomics single cell Chromium Controller into our research both in basic research and in clinical trials.  Our lab has since become a core facility for the university community to perform single cell assays including single cell RNAseq, single cell ATAC seq, Single Cell Immune profiling of TCR and BCR and multiomic assays.

Technique Expertise or Resources to share

Single Cell Sequencing Assays, Skin and Lung single cell datasets, 10X Genomics Controller, Single Cell Data analysis support.
