My current research focuses on the basic and translational aspects of human lung cancer, the major cause of cancer deaths. I am particularly interested in lung cancer bone metastasis, since it occurs in 30-40% of lung cancers, and median survival time of lung cancer patients with bone metastasis is only 7 months. Moreover, bone metastasis causes pain and fractures that interfere with daily activities and quality of life.
